Yogis On The Move: Teaching A Private: Wailea, HI: November 21, 2021

The Sunday Yogi and Star both bring happiness and joy to a yoga mat.

Yogis extol the virtues of equanimity, but I love my privates on Sunday the best. Maybe because the practice is usually on the chill side, maybe because of the gorgeous oceanfront location, but I think it’s because he and his family have a beautiful vibe. No matter how sticky shoulders or hips may be, no matter how difficult to balance in tree pose, no matter if it’s hot or rainy, I always come away feeling better then when I arrived.

I can say this “feeling better than when I arrived” about all yoga classes. But maybe these sessions are a standout in that regard because it feels pretty awesome to be there before we even start.

Here’s what we did today:

Guitar hero with warrior iii

Standing Qi going twists
Windmills
Utkatassna dips with side taps

Tabletop wrist stretches
Sphinx play with kicks
Balasana

Apanasana with manapura strength play
Eka pada gustasaba

Savasana

Sit
Namaste
